About me

Gwen has had extensive experience within the creative industries since 1997 when she undertook a scenic art apprenticeship. Early on, she worked mainly as a freelance theatre designer for The Royal National Theatre's Connections Festival of Youth Theatre. More recently she undertook teaching work for related experimental projects funded by a government organisation called Creative Partnerships.

Additional Skills

Gwen holds a B.A. in theatre design, and a P.G.C.E. teaching qualification. Most recently, she graduated with an M.A. illustration (university of the arts, with distinction) on which she undertook a personal project, creating the groundwork for her own graphic novel series. Since, she has been focussing on illustration work and on her own writing and painting. "I love puppet animation, and I am keen to develop this some stage!"
