About me
My attitude towards work is very positive, this stems from me being a friendly, helpful, dedicated and organised person in the work place; I also find enjoyment in communicating with customers and colleagues of all ages. Throughout my working career, I have developed the ability to work under pressure whether that pressure be independently or in a team. As a result of the various job sectors I have worked, I can learn quickly to deliver a high standard of customer service. I am also a recent graduate dancer from Roehampton University who has confident communication skills, a sufficient management of time and the stamina to work hard and professionally in any working environment. I feel I am flexible, reliable and have a positive approach to any task given, I hope to be enthusiastic towards new challenges and would be a valuable member of a hardworking dance team.Skills

Highlights
-
I have experience in the Michaelis Theatre at Roehampton University in London, where I have recently finished participating in a lighting and production course to learn and develop my skills involving production management, stage management and lighting design roles. I have designed lights for several dance pieces and also worked as a Stage Manager during dance shows and festivals throughout my time at University by working front of house and back stage. My most recent role as a Stage Management has been working along-side Foot Prints Festival at Roehampton to ensure the show ran at a smooth and professional level. I have also participated in work experience at The Place theatre in Kings Cross London, where I assisted in a professional live show called Resolution for 5 days as a lighting designer assistant and stage manager assistant. I have experience in QLAB and ETC programming, Stage Managing, lighting design, Sound and AV. I also worked with the technical team by discussing with the dance choreographer what specials they needed; as well as communicating with one of the team members who were controlling the lights. I also assisted back stage as Stage Manager, sending dancers on stage whilst professionally communicating with the lighting designer. The experience of working in a larger theatre suggests that I understand the professional level required carry out a live performance sufficiently. My further skills include the ability to rig, focus and operate (via a computing lighting desk) a variety of luminaries. I am aware and understand the health and safety requirements in the theatre work place. I have the ability to design and prepare a lighting plan and technical specification. As a professional performer, I am inspired by theatre and dance events that require technical specification.
